Pedro Mata
Founding partner
More than 25 years experience in the finance sector, holding management positions in M&A and corporate finance divisions of Credit Suisse (UK) and Banco Santander (Spain). Pedro has also held Investment Director positions in several private equity firms such as STAR Capital Partners (UK), and Atlas Capital Private Equity (Spain). Throughout his career, Pedro has been an active investor, financier and advisor working closely with many founders and creating value in a diverse range of companies. As a Synthesis partner, Pedro brings a lifetime of experience to ventures looking for capital to grow.

Ian Banerjee
Founding partner
Over 25 years experience in consulting with Andersen Consulting/ Accenture/ Founder/ Freelance, working across industries such as capital markets/technology (London Stock Exchange, Clearstream, Deutsche Börse), diversified industries and the public sector in large complex system building and strategic technology transformation projects., creating and advising many ventures. As a Synthesis partner, Ian brings his creativity, initiative and leadership to founders helping to analyse, strategically plan, execute and realise value.
Degree in Aerospace Engineering (University of Glasgow) – Executive MBA (IESE/Michigan).
